2018 Summit Organizer
The summit partners are looking for a committed individual to bring the vision for PGM ONE into fruition. This person will have the opportunity to lead a grassroots planning effort that involves collaborating with hundreds of PGM leaders and partners to make the second summit as or more successful than the inaugural summit in 2017.
The 2018 PGM ONE Summit Organizer will collaborate with summit partners to organize the 2018 summit. Specifically, the 2018 PGM ONE Summit Organizer will be responsible for:
Marketing and External Communications (40%)
Update the PGM ONE website content (www.pgmone.org)
Maintain engagement with PGM ONE’s followership on social media sites, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
Work with PGM ONE summit partners to publicize the event and communicate with media regarding the summit.
Serve as the outward face of the summit and main point of contact for PGM ONE registrants, sponsors, presenters, exhibitors, and vendors.
Logistics and Registration (35%)
Take lead on venue selection, contracting and negotiations, including visiting site.
Work with the venue liaison to organize site logistics, including meals, lodging, and A/V needs.
Manage web registration and payment for PGM ONE registrants (currently via Eventbrite).
Internal Communications (15%)
Report to the Summit Director and Planning Committee on all aspects of the project through weekly video conferences via Google Hangout or equivalent.
Maintain the PGM ONE budget and report regularly to the summit partners on finances.
Securing Additional Resources (10%)
Take the lead in in-kind sponsorship efforts (giveaways and other items and/or services)
Create, recruit, and manage volunteer positions leading up to and during the summit.
Support fundraising efforts.

Experience or willingness to learn applications including Google Drive and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with basic website content maintenance on Squarespace & Eventbrite integration, or willingness to learn
Experience with social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, and for the duration of the summit.
Access to and use of reliable personal computer, phone, and Internet connection.
Northern California location preferred but not required.
Compensation: $21 per hour with a guarantee of pay for 15 hours a week but additional pay for additional hours reported (not to exceed 700 hours during the duration of the position).
Benefits: This is a contract position with no benefits.
Duration: weekday work hours between October 30th, 2017 - May 31, 2017 (dates negotiable and hours flexible)
